Champions Trophy Postponed

The First edition of the Cameroon Super Cup dubbed Champions Trophy initially scheduled for October 12 has been postponed and might be played on October 22nd according to reliable sources.

The reason for this postponement is Coton Sports’ continental calender. The cotton weavers will face Royal Leapards FC of Eswatini in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League on October 9 for the away leg and on October 15 for the return leg.

The champions trophy according to FECAFOOT calendar marks the start of the 2022-2023 football season and opposes League winners to Cup winners.

This first edition will thus oppose Bamboutos FC of Mbouda to Coton Sports of Garoua.
