Two years later, Cameroon was again facing their dreaded counterparts at the 2003 FIFA confederations Cup. that time, Samuel Eto’o’s lone goal was enough to subdue Brazil. Team’s preparedness for their next game

Indomitable lions head coach Rigobert Song during a press briefing held earlier this December 1 declared the readiness of his boys for tomorrow’s match.

“We will give it our all tomorrow. Against Serbia, we saw a team being led but was able to equalize so I will stay positive. Today we have a growing team but tomorrow I promise you that there will be ameliorations in our play style because we need the three points of the day. I will put out a team ready and willing to win because we no longer have anything to lose,” Rigobert Song declared.

During a briefing after their morning training session, the team’s doctor Joel said Olivier Chang who has been out because of an injury is fit for Friday’s game. Nohou Ntolo and Martin Hongla who suffered slight injuries during the match against Serbia are also ready for Friday’s clash.

In tomorrow’s clash however, Cameroon has one and only option: win the match and increase their chance of qualification or return home. The Lions’ supporters are hopeful that Cameroon will win the game:

“We will win the match on Friday and people will understand that God is with Cameroon,” Ernest Eyong says.

“The lions will win 2-0 on friday with one goal from Moting and one from Vincent Aboubakar,” another fan, Moride Noah declares confidently.

“Cameroon will win 3-1 and it will favour Cameroon but if we fail to play with two offensive attackers, then I fear we may end up with 7 goals from Brazil because we have big players like Neymar in Brazil,” another football lover, Joshua Enoh, opinionates.

A win for the indomitable Lions against Brazil this Friday will qualify them for the knock out stage. The lions face Brazil this December 2 at 8Pm local time.
