Clinton Njie To Launch His Foundation With Over 13 Million FCFA Worth Donation In His Native Buea
If there is one thing that makes him happy, it is giving back to his community. Those who know the childhood upbringing of Cameroon striker, Clinton Njie, will obviously attest to the fact that he did not have a milk and honey childhood.
He’s struggling but determined mother fought tooth and nail to ensure that Clinton and his siblings could eat, go to school and have clothes to wear.
And like every other struggling kid who had a dream, Clinton did not lose hope and focus. He kept his dream alive with constant hard work and focus.
But today, many have seen the flames of their dreams put out because there was no one to encourage them.
Clinton Njie strongly believes that there is a drop of greatness in every kid and all they need is someone to help them exploit these God-given potentials. This could be by words of encouragement and or through financial and material support.
Through his foundation, the Clinton Njie Care Foundation (CNCF), Clinton hopes to touch as many lives as possible. The objective of the foundation is to support less privileged persons in society, most especially vulnerable children who can not afford basic needs to pursue their education due to a lack of finances.
The vision bearer and Executive Director of the Foundation, Mr. Clinton Njie, has always had a particular interest in such a category of persons in society. This could be seen from the several lives he has already touched through financial and material donations.
This September, the Clinton Njie Care Foundation will make donations worth 13.5 million Francs to some 11 schools in the Buea municipality. Apart from that, some two primary schools in the municipality will have their classrooms completely renovated and the schools painted.
The donations also include dozens of computers, over 100 school benches, 6000 exercise books, pens, anti-covid-19 hand washing buckets, and dust bins.
For a start, 11 schools will benefit, while in the nearest future other primary and secondary schools will also benefit.
The renovations of the different schools are currently going and the donations will be made in the first week of the new academic year.
This is not the first time Clinton is giving back to the community. Early last year, over 72 children in Bertoua, the east region of Cameroon, had their birth certificates fully funded by Njie Clinton. The footballer has always wanted his magnanimity kept low keyed and away from the knowledge of the public.
Clinton supports some school-going kids in his native Buea but wants it done discreetly.
He donated health kits worth over FRS CFA 7,000,000 to the Buea Regional and Bojongo district hospitals but asked that they be kept low-keyed. It was the same last December with three orphanages he visited.
