CHAN 2022: Ngom among 25 intermediate lions selected
Colombe Sportif midfielder Ngom Mbekeli, is among the players selected to represent Cameroon at the 2022 African Nations’ Chanpionship (CHAN) in Algeria.
His call-up follows his return from the World Cup in Qatar, where he proved his worth in his first appearance during the game opposing ythe Indomitable Lions to Brazil. The 24-year-old needed just six minutes to make a decisive pass to Vincent Aboubakar enabling to score for Cameroon and bring a breakthrough to the team.
The list of players to take part in the tournament, also feature a host of other renowned names in the Elite One Championship. Sensational Coton Sport midfielder Kaiba Djawal, Mbah Louis, and defense kingpins Che Malone and Etta Bawak, are in the group.
The 2022 CHAN which is in it’s seventh edition, will be held from January 13 to February 4 in Algeria.
