Cameroonian in UAE dies of food poisoning, two months after getting married

His death was pronounced On Monday night, July 11, 2022, at a Sharjah hospital. The man who worked at Ajman Security died two months after getting married in Cameroon.

Sharjah is one of the Emirates in UAE.

Julius Tangunu Nyanka comes from Bambalang in the North West region. He went to Cameroon in June and got married before returning to his job in UAE.

“He went on vacation last month and got married, after returning about three weeks ago and very fine while going to work just about 1 weeks ago he started feeling dizzy and it continued like that which he finally gave up the ghost.” Someone who has been following him up told CNA.

According to the source, his death certificate shows that he died of food poisoning.

On his sick bed, a disturbing video was shared where blood could be seen coming out of his mouth.

CNA has not been able to find out if it was the food he prepared or it was a poisoned meal he ate, as insinuated by his close ones.

But suspicion of a poisoned meal is very high given the numerous cases Cameroonians in the Diaspora have been facing.
