Cameroon mourns passing of esteemed sports consultant, Abdoulaye Ado

Cameroon is in mourning following the passing of Abdoulaye Ado, a revered sports consultant and unwavering supporter of Iya Mohamed.
Ado, who was also an active member of the ANDP party (National Alliance for Democracy and Progress), reports say succumbed early this morning.
Expressions of grief and tribute have poured in from various quarters, reflecting the profound impact Ado had on his community. Clement Dogmo, lamenting his loss, remarked, “His analyses and insights on Cameroonian football affairs will be sorely missed.”
Terence Koma reminisced, “This intellectual was instrumental in leading us to the great victories of the Indomitable Lions’ golden era.” Such sentiments underscore Ado’s significant contributions to the nation’s sporting legacy.
Amidst the sorrow, there is acknowledgment of Ado’s devout faith, with Gambo Pat reflecting, “What a blessing to depart during the holy month of Ramadan. May the Almighty welcome you into His kingdom. Rest in peace, great man.”
