CAFWCL: Mamelodi Sundowns crowned African Women’s Football Champions with record-breaking win

Mamelodi Sundowns has become the best team in African women’s football once again after beating SC Casablanca 3-0 in the CAF Women’s Champions League final on Sunday, November 19.
The South Africans emerged victorious in Cote d’Ivoire, with Tholakele Refilwe scoring two goals and Boitumelo Rabale netting one.
Sundowns regained the title they lost the previous year, and they set a new record by winning the championship without conceding any goals.
This remarkable achievement was made at the full Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo, Ivory Coast.
South Africans emerged as the tournament winners, scoring impressive goals to beat the Moroccans and secure the USD 400,000 prize.
