Bui Division: Three state forces killed in Mbonso

An attack attributed to separatist fighters in Bui division, North West region, cost the lives of at least three government forces, CNA learned on Wednesday morning.

At least two were said to have been rushed to the hospital, a source familiar with the incident said.

The attack occurred in the Warde neighborhood, a place popularly known as Maloun le Petit, where the state has established a control post between Mbonso in the Bui division and Noun in the West region.

Immediate sources have not been able to determine if there were injuries on the part of the attackers.

In a video shared on social media, the Bui Unity Warriors and Donga Mantung state army claimed responsibility for the attack as they brandished seized weapons.
