BOFAS and BUNS to continue rehabilitation works from Matazem to Bamenda
The Cameroonian companies have just signed new contracts to handle two sections of the road.
The close to 52km stretch from Babadjou to Bamenda was divided into 4 sections by the ministry of public works.
BUNS won the contract of rehabilitating the 17km Babadjou Matazem where the execution rate now stands at 10,66% and the deadline consumed at 22,22% according to information from the Ministry of Public Works.
The same company has now been awarded the second section from Matazem to the “Welcome to Bamenda” signboard in Mile 3, while BOFAS will take care of the 5km Bamenda cliff cross-section. The only section that is still pending is the close 12 km urban crossing.
