BEAC says they did not favour Governor’s wife in recruitment.
The Bank of Central African States (BEAC) has in a press release denied allegations conveyed by certain individuals and relayed by several press organs, and more particularly social media, that its current recruitment is marred by favouritism.
The information which BEAC qualifies as unfounded says the wife of the Central Bank Governor has been favoured as her names appeared on the list of candidates admitted for the oral phase of the recruitment of senior management agents at BEAC.
BEAC in the press release signed by the Director of Human Resources and Training, Carlos-Alberto Boncaca Tabares reminds the public that the Governor’s wife did not participate in this exercise conducted in an impartial and professional manner.
In addition , the BEAC points out that the Governor has no family member in any category of the Central Bank staff .
According to the Bank of Central African States, no internal recruitment procedure has been violated and the statements conveyed are defamatory.
