Bamenda Archbishop Nkea pleads for mercy as ADF sets execution of Senator Regina Mundi
The Ambazonia Defense Forces, ADF, has said failure by the Government of Cameroon to comply with the terms of release of the Senator, they will execute her before May 20, 2022.
But the Archbishop of the Bamenda Diocese, Mgr Andrew Nkea on May 20, launched an appeal for her liberation.
He said despite being a Senator at Cameroon’s upper house of the parliament, Senator Regina Mundi is also a mother and grand mother whose children and grand children are waiting to reunite with her.
The Senator was kidnapped on April 30, 2022 in Bamenda while on her way to a wedding.
Now the ADF has said any “RESCUE ATTEMPT WILL LEAD TO SWIFT EXECUTION”
They also said that she is now living in injury time.
“The clock is ticking for the execution of colonial enabler and accessory to genocide Mrs Mundi Regina. If Mr Paul Biya the head of the Cameroon State do not react to our demands the Defense Department of the Ambazonia Governing Council may still carry out the execution without orders from the President of the Ambazonia Governing Council if Paul Biya fails to react.” Said Capo Daniel, a Deputy Defense Chief, Ambazonia Governing Council.
