Manigueidi Villagers Defeat Boko Haram Militants in Tough Battle

Maroua, Cameroon-June 29, 2017- 10 am Local Time (Cameroon News Agency) The people of Manigueidi village in logon Chari division in the Far North region of Cameroon have succeeded to push suspected Boko Haram militants back to the boarders with Nigeria in a fierce battle won with cutlasses and sticks.

Angered by the death of two civilians in an attack, the villagers took their locally fabricated weapons and chased the assailants killing one on the spot, leaving the jihadists with no choice than to run away.
