Bambili: Bike rider killed in fatal road accident
A bike rider has lost his life in a tragic collision with a speeding vehicle. The incident occurred on the night of March 6, 2025, in Bambili, Tubah Subdivision.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the Lexus, identified as a young man in his early 20s, was on high speed along the Bamenda university street when he lost control of the vehicle. The car collided head-on with the bike rider near Katika Junction, resulting in fatal damages.
The bike rider, whose name we could not immediately get succumbed to his injuries after being rushed at the Bamenda Regional Hospital.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, abandoning his car when the population gathered. Other eyewitnesses said the young driver is noted for reckless driving, particularly over-speeding.
