Bafoussam: City mayor signs new contracts

One of the contracts signed on Monday August 1st 2022 by Roger Tafam, in presence of Dieudonne Kengne, General Manager of the industrial civil engineeeing company ( GCI), is aimed at giving a face-lift to some major streets in the town with emphasis on street lighting.

One of the streets expected to get better lighting within five months is the stretch from Pharmacie Salvia to the military base.

Another contract signed yesterday is that to partially reconstruct the commercial space of Marché Casablanca for wholesalers and retailers in order to assure food safety.

The two projects are funded within the framework of the public investment budget of the ministry of Decentralization and Local Development for the year 2022.
