AziCCUL AGM Bamenda: Cries multiply over alledged discrimnation into Aziccul board membership

Tensions are escalating within Aziccul as the Annual General Meeting (AGM) approaches, with an anonymous individual who reached out to us expressing serious concerns about being unfairly targeted. The source says there is a witch hunt against the only non-Mankon board member.
She said the alleged selective targeting raises significant questions about internal procedures and fairness. It’s reported that only this individual’s name was removed from the list of aspiring board members.
Concerns are also being raised about the role of the Supervisory Board Chair, a member of the Metta clan, who has reportedly remained silent on the issue. This silence has fueled rumors of betrayal among the Metta community, CNA learned.
A board meeting is scheduled for Saturday to select a replacement for this individual from the Metta tribe. However, there are strong indications that the Metta community is mobilizing and may prevent the AGM from proceeding unless the individual is reinstated or other board members are also removed.
“We are questioning why the Metta tribe, whose ancestors reportedly founded Aziccul, appears to be in a disadvantaged position, potentially reduced to a “beggar’s position” with only token representation. The perceived threat posed by this individual to the General Manager, and the disproportionate tribal representation on Aziccul’s board, are also key questions demanding answers.” The source said.
All eyes are now on Ayaba this Saturday, June 14th, as the AGM is set to either resolve this escalating crisis or lead to an irreversible confrontation.
CNA has reached out to the management via email for comments.
