ASAF Cameroon empowers children with disabilities through education grants
Yaoundé, Cameroon (CNA)– The Avi Sivan Abraham Foundation, ASAF Cameroon, a leading philanthropic organisation, has significantly contributed to educating children with disabilities and those from vulnerable backgrounds. On September 23, 2024, the foundation organised a ceremony to award scholarships to over 50 children from the PROMHANDICAM association.
The event took place at the PROMHANDICAM premises in Mimboman II, Yaoundé. ASAF Cameroon, under the visionary leadership of Mr. Eran Moas, has been actively involved in supporting vulnerable populations in Cameroon. This initiative aligns with the foundation’s commitment to promoting social inclusion and improving access to education for all children.
In addition to the scholarships, ASAF Cameroon has also financed the renovation of classrooms to create a more inclusive and accessible learning environment for children with disabilities. The total donation from the foundation amounts to 25 million FCFA, demonstrating their significant investment in the future of these children.
