Arrests and search warrants come from dying occupier- Julius Nyih

Julius Nyih the Vice-President of the separatist group, Amabazonia Governing Council, revealed that following the arrest of their leader by Norway, Ayaba Cho Lucas, other big names in the group were visited in Norway and the United States, but were all released.

The man who has now taken over the group and command of the Ambazonia Defense Forces said they have carried out self-defense against the state of Cameroon.

“You can arrest every Ambazonian, but the war will continue…as our saying goes ‘soldier come, soldier go, barracks remain’…” he said.

He also announced that he was ready for any arrest.

The arrest according to him was a calculated attempt to dampen the spirits of their followers so that they would not celebrate Independence Day on October 1, 2024.

October 1, is the day former British Southern Cameroon had independence. Today, it is known as the North West and South West region.

The now interim leader said, the government of Cameroon was angered by the lockdown that was instituted by the groups, which is why they activated the arrest of Ayaba Cho.
