Apostle Suleman demands seed of at least FCFA 500.000 during Douala crusade

By Ngala Hansel

Nigeria’s Apostle Johnson Suleman has ended his “Mighty Turnaround” crusade in Douala where thousands turned out to hear the Pentecostal preacher at the Bepanda Stadium.
The two-day event in Douala from the 13 and 14 of September was a crowd-puller that did not leave all attendees satisfied.
“I found it strange that Apostle Suleman centered his preaching on ‘seed-sowing’ and miracles. He even said that those who want to sow seeds must start their sowing of seeds as from FCFA 500.000 if not, they should sit down” a source told this reporter, opting to remain anonymous for fear of reprisals. She added that some people were even giving FCFA 1.000.000.
“I was expecting to hear a gospel of salvation and an altar call where sinners would come and offer their lives to Christ but instead all I heard was miracles, deliverance and sowing of seeds” she regretted.
“I paid my transport from Yaounde to Douala to attend the crusade and I can honestly say that it was a waste of my time and money because I did not feel renewed or blessed by the preaching in anyway” our source added.
Suleman is the head of Omega Fire Ministries based in Edo State of Nigeria and is seen by some as a promoter of the prosperity gospel – a type of preaching that emphasizes health and wealth.
