Another person dies during military training

The most recent deceased person is Nana Raphael popularly known as ISMA. He passed away this June 9th 2022 in the Motcheboum, East region of Cameroon in one of the camps dedicated to the training of military personnel. According to his friends, he left the capital city, Yaounde in perfect health promising to be back but unfortunately, six days into the training programme, he was declared dead by officials. His family and friends are still in shock.

Another person who recently passed away, this time in the Douala training centre situated at Bonanjo military training camp is a lady whose name CNA got as Kevine. Family sources say she was in search of a better life for her parents and siblings who were left back in the village before her demise. She passed out during exercises this June 8th 2022 and never recovered.

This brings the number of deceased trainees to two within 24 hours. The training programme started on June 3rd 2022 across the national territory.
