Administrators in Littoral, South West and North West regions, confident Biya will bring development to Cameroon
Officials in the Southwest region, Littoral, and Northwest regions of Cameroon have expressed their positive energies after listening to the head of State’s new year message on the 31st of December, 2022.
Government authorities carefully followed the 31st night message from the Head of State President Paul Biya; the Mayor of Mamfe Manyu Division, the Mayor of Kumba Gregory Mawanu, the Governor of Littoral and the Governor of the Northwest Region as well as Senior Divisional Officers, gave diverse reactions to the speech.
The Senior Divisional Officer of Meme made a general appraisal of the Head of State’s message “If the Head of state could mention us, then that means we are fully also a part of his worries and concern. I was overjoyed when he made mention of tarring all the roads in Meme Division “Nto’ou Ndong Chamberlain Senior Divisional officer Meme said.
Mamfe’s Mayor, Robert Nchung says much is still to be done when it comes to the decentralization process the Head of State mentioned during his end-of-year speech.
To the City Mayor of Kumba, Gregory Mewanu, the Head of state made mentioned one of his key worries he expected a solution to which is electricity failure in Kumba and other parts of the Southwest Region which was carefully highlighted as the President made mentioned of works taking place at the energy dams.
“Listening to the Presidents end of year Speech, 55% was based only on the economic sector with him just congratulating the private sector. The people of Bamenda old town came out to thank God for a new year in spite of the challenges. Prior to the celebrations, the Governor of the Northwest Region said the only thing that got his attention was the Head of State’s mention of the return of peace. Bamenda needs it.
