ADISI Cameroun Propagates Fake Analysis Against CNA

Statement from CNA Executive Editor.

ADISI-CAMEROUN and its leader, Paul Joel Kamtchang have written a report where they indexed Cameroon News Agency of propagating Russian and Separatist agenda during the 2025, Presidential elections.

They provided no further details of how this agenda was propagated, in fact CNA was just mentioned in the conclusion. CSOs and NGOs, must be very careful how they carry out analysis especially on sensitive topics that could put reporters in danger of being targeted.

We have asked ourselves in the newsroom if there is another Cameroon News Agency somewhere because on no occasion did CNA circulate Russian agenda during the elections. So how did they identify the Russian agenda?

Writing reports to request for funding which is always the end goal for some money minded CSOs and NGOs should not be at the detriment of the lives and professions of others.

@ADISI-CAMEROUN must show those reports that were published by CNA that had Russian agenda, or take our name off.

We are also aware that the same CSO has indexed a sister-company, MMI News for doing the same thing during the elections.

We see this as a targeted attack towards Anglophone Media aimed at satisfying their Western and internal donors.

You must not tell a lie to get money.

CNA is the only media that produced two Opinion Polls on the election of October 12, 2025, and the responses were overwhelming.

It is strange that ADISI-CAMEROUN did not applaud CNA for this initiative, but it instead created lies to suit their money making business.

Cameroon News Agency describes this as Fake News and demands immediate retraction from their report.
