ADF ‘commander’ killed in Bamenda
A selfstyled commander’ of the Ambazonian Defense Force, ADF, JC, whose real name is Funwi Christopher, has been killed in an operation in Bamenda.
JC was tracked down in a popular hotel in Bamenda, where an exchange with defense and security forces led to his demise on Sunday February 16th.
He was former bodyguard of the late National Chairman of the SDF party, Ni John Fru Ndi. He had orchestrated the kidnapping of the late chairman twice.
The ADF ‘commander’ was involved in several atrocities in Bamenda including kidnapping for ransom, killing, raping, and hijacking luxurious cars.
He assumed the position of ‘Commander’ of the Ambazonian Defense Forces in Bamenda about three months ago, after ‘General’ Weapon and ‘Colonel’ Mami were killed.
JC was said to be responsible for the killing of the Second Deputy Mayor of Bamenda II, Joko Freda, and several others.
