Bamenda: Gov’t forces kill five Separatists in special operation
At least five members of the Ambazonia separatist fighters were in Bamenda, North West region between Saturday and Sunday.
Government forces are said to have invaded a hideout of the combatants in Nchulam and killed the commander, popularly called, “general weapon” and his assistant.
Two Prados, munitions, and guns were recovered from the operation.
The forces did not go too far as they waited for other fighters to come for the mourning event.
They succeeded in ambushing three others who were said to have arrived the scene to mourn the commander of Alabukam ( general weapon)
This ambush technique was the major tactic used by the Cameroon military during the early days of the Anglophone conflict. They will pile bodies and wait for anyone who comes to retrieve them.
It is not yet known which armed group the fallen fighters belonged to.
