Mali cuts diplomatic ties with Ukraine in border attack
The Malian government announced that it had discontinued diplomatic relations with Ukraine, revealing that the move follows Kyiv’s official’s comments on attacks in July argeting Malian soldiers and mercenaries from Russia’s Wagner group.
The Tuareg rebels announced that they killed more than 100 mercenaries and Malian forces in three days attack.
Further information from Andriy Yusov, the spokesperson for Ukraine’s military intelligence agency (GUR) said that the Malian rebels had received “all the information they needed, which allowed them to carry out their operation against the Russians.
