Robert Kona excludes Hon. Cabral Libii from the PCRN

One of the founding fathers of the Cameroonian Party for National Reconciliation (PCRN), Robert Kona has excluded Hon. Cabral Libii from the PCRN. He penned down the request order in a correspondence to the Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Njie on March 28, 2024.
The names of 24 active members whose services are no longer needed in party were enumerated by Robert Kona in the note. Top on the list is Hon. Cabral Libii, the current National President and Armand Okol, the National Communications secretary of the PCRN.
Perceived by many as a way of revenge on his part, Robert Kona was suspended from the PCRN on March 20, by the disciplinary committee of the National Political Bureau. One day later, he was definitively excluded and the secretary general, Boubakari Massardine, and a notification was then sent to the Minister of Territorial Administration, on March 25, 2024.
Two days later, the Minister refused to validate the exclusion of the founding fathers of the PCRN for the simple reason that his exclusion is in – “Violation with the statutes of the Cameroonian Party for National Reconciliation and that it lacks quality.”
This cacophony is coming at a time when opposition political parties are mobilizing and preparing in their various angles, for the upcoming 2025 presidential election in the country.
