Elite playoffs: Jude Enow the 15-year-old winger everyone is talking about

The public at the Bepanda annex stadium in Douala on Thursday, March 28, was mesmerized by Victoria United winger, Jude Enow’s display in the playoff encounter against Gazelle FA.

The 15-year-old who earlier this year, became the youngest player to ever play in the Elite One championship, graced the eyes of fans with unprecedented spectacle. His dribbling and passing ability prompted comparisons with the likes of Ansu Fati, Kylian Mbappe and Youssoufa Moukoko among other world renowned young names.

Jude Enow largely contributed to Opopo’s one-nil victory in the day two outing, emerging man of the match.

The high moment of the encounter at the Bepanda annex stadium was in the 70th minute when the young star received a standing ovation from the entire public as he was being substituted.

It was the player’s first time to be included on the starting line-up since he joined Opopo in January from the Limbe Best Stars football club.

Victoria United have won all of their first two games of the 2024 Elite playoffs, edging Dynamo of Douala 1-0, and inflicting the same defeat on Gazelle FA of Garoua.
