India: Two Nigerians killed in explosion while producing illicit drugs

In an unfortunate incident in north Delhi’s Burari area, India, two Nigerian nationals lost their lives following an explosion that occurred during the production of illicit drugs.
While one victim has been identified as Christian Ifeanyichukwu, the identity of the second deceased individual remains unknown, as confirmed by the police.
The explosion which according to India Today took place between Monday and Tuesday, occurred while the victims, along with two female acquaintances, were reportedly engaged in drug manufacturing activities.
Reports state that the ignition happened when a chemical was added to the drug mixture, resulting in a fire that engulfed the rented house.
Further investigation revealed that the property owner, Nafees, facilitated the rental arrangement for the victims in Burari, known for its hidden location, despite owning property in Bengali Colony.
The bodies of the deceased, police revealed, have been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
The tragic incident highlights the dangers associated with illegal drug production and emphasizes the importance of adhering to safety protocols.
