Douala: Chinese woman falls from building
A Chinese woman has fallen down from the the 5th floor of a storey building early Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Douche municipal -Akwa Douala, precisely at a place called “Ancien PMUC”, sustaining severe injuries to her face, legs and hands.
She was rushed in an unconscious state to the Douala Laquintinie hospital by the population.
The life of the woman in her 30s was saved by the roof of a shop that trapped her leg keeping her suspended, with her head facing the ground.
It is not known if it was a suicide attempt or she was pushed down by someone.
It is alleged that the Chinese woman lives on the 5th floor with her husband and is a cashier in a Chinese shop at Douche municipal Akwa.
Elements of the 3rd district police who immediately arrived the scene, secured the area for investigation.
In the meantime, the lady is between life and death in the emergency unit of the Laquintinie hospital.
