PWD Bamenda end 2023 with win over Dynamo

PWD of Bamenda secured a 2-1 victory over Dynamo of Douala in the Elite One day 13 fixture at the Mbappe Leppe Stadium in Douala.

The Abakwa Boys opened scores through Bongaman Fritz in the 22nd minute, a lead which was short-lived as an own goal from Tony Ashu served Dynamo an equalizer in the 36th minute.

The second half came with PWD stumbling on a free-kick which Nyame Rodrigue superbly executed. The 65th minute goal gave PWD a crucial 2-1 lead that sealed the match.

The victory coupled with PWD’s earlier win against Colombe on day 12, propelled the team from the fifth to the fourth position in the playoffs zone.
