Cameroon bishops disavow Pope, say gay couples will never be blessed

Their outing on Thursday December 21, 2023, came on the wake of a statement from the Vatican where Pope Francis urged Priests to bless gay couples wgen need arises.

In a nine-point statement, members of the Cameroon Episcopal Conference, led by Archbishop of Bamenda, Andrew Nkea, said they, ” formally forbid all blessings of ‘homosexual couples’ in the Church of Cameroon.

They also urged homosexuals to stop , pretending that they are weak, minority and victims of oppression.

That they should repent and seek the ways of God.
