Elite Two: ISOHSA of Limbe rises from ruins
By Biwah Bryan
In a phenomenal display of skill, South West Elite side ISOHSA of Limbe triumphed over Leopard Sportif of Douala in their day 10 encounter at the Limbe Centenary Stadium. ISOHSA’s Njuma Ikose delivered a stunning brace, accompanied by goals from Mbeng Joel and Jefter Arrey, securing a long-awaited win for the Limbe-based team.
This much-needed victory follows the recent strengthening of ISOHSA’s coaching department, with the appointment of Joseph Ndoko, the former coach of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon. The win puts an end to ISOHSA’s five-game winless drought in the Elite Two Championship, having faced three defeats and two draws in their last five league games.
ISOHSA now boasts a total of 18 goals scored, four wins, three draws, and three defeats after 10 games, securing a respectable fourth-place rank in the championship. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Leopard is reeling from their sixth defeat of the season, now sitting second-to-last in the classification table.
