Bamenyam killings: Capo Daniel says Ambazonia forces responsible
Capo Daniel in revealing that Separatists are responsible for the Bamenyam attack, has said Cameroon citizens will increasingly pay the price for this reckless war that is ongoing in the North West and South West regions.
The Chairman of the Ambazonian People’s Rights Advocative Platform, Capo Daniel, in reaction to the Bamenyam attack that left atleast 9 dead and many others injured, said they boys were targeting the military who were concentrated in the subdivision for the Bagam chieftaincy issue.
In a 6-minute video, the Ambazonian leader declared that some Ambazonian fighters have launched cross-border attacks into the Francophone regions, saying the case of Bamenyam was an opportunity presented by the Bagam chieftaincy crisis.
“This is very significant. The boys took advantage of the situation that was prevailing there due to the failure of the regime as well in that part of their country, as well à successful operation was carried out there targeting military presence in that particular locality ,” Capo Daniel said.
Capo Daniel says there will be no military victory for Cameroon.
“This should be a clear message to the regime in Yaounde that is creating a reality on its own that things have come back to normal. Ambazonian fighters are increasingly coming under the influence of the most extreme faction within our liberation struggle. The president of Cameroon should understand that while it was reckless for him to start this war, it will require courage and love for humanity for him to make up his mind, to bring concrete modalities that can lead to substantial negotiations to stop this war. There will be no military victory for Cameroon and the Cameroon citizens will continue to pay the price for this reckless war. ”
He rounded up his declaration by calling on the Cameroon government to come to the negotiation table with them to avoid such murders in future.
It should be recalled that the raid by motorized separatist fighters led to the killing of 9, the looting of shops and a cargo vehicle and the abduction of about ten people.
