Bafia: deviant students presented to school authorities
Two students of Lyceé Classique et Moderne de Bafia in the Mbam and Inoubou division of the Centre region accused of theft and other criminal acts in the school have been presented to the educational family on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
Some Gendarmerie elements could also be seen in a video filmed during their presentation. Addressing the rest of the students and school staff, the principal said “these two students who chose the path of deviance, stormed the campus early Wednesday, armed with cutlasses to attack one of your mates. If not for the quick intervention of these men in uniform, there would have been bloodshed in this school. Many of you have been their victims in one way or the other.”
“School is meant for studies and molding of responsible citizens. What these two have done is intolerable and unforgiveable. We will make sure they answer to the law. It is a fatal offence to disturb the peace and tranquility of an educational institution,” he added.
The hundreds of students who were present on campus were advised not to follow the path of the two deliquent students.
“The law does not spare anybody. Anyone who decides to follow their footsteps will be exterminated like them because we will stop at nothing to make sure you are severely punished. The forces of law and order are mobilised for that. Beware and be warned,” the principal warned.
