France remains biggest human rights violator in Africa-former AU diplomat
A former African Union envoy to the United Nations, a medical Doctor, and Activist, Arikana Chihombori-Quao, has said questioned why France has remained a member of the United Nation’s Security Council when she is the biggest perpetrator of human rights violations in Africa.
“Everybody is giving it, the world is giving it a blind eye…France remains the biggest risk to peace and security in Africa today and nobody is talking about it.” She told Today News Africa.
The vocal Activist said France destroyed African countries by doing ‘deplorable things’. She explained that though independent, most countries under France were forced to sign their independence but also sign that they will continue to be colonized by France in the guise of bilateral cooperation.
The pact for the continuation of colonization she said, can be seen in the clauses where the African countries have to deposit 85 percent of their money in the French treasury and under the control of the French minister of Finance.
Access to these deposits she continued, is given to the countries after an application and submission of financial report.
These controls come to confirm that independence was given with left-right and taken with right-right.
