PWD’s Joseph Angwa is no more!

The entire football family in the North West region and that of PWD Bamenda in particular are in deep pains following the passing away of Joseph Angwa.

The legendary PWD Bamenda goalkeeper died on Monday July 10 at the Bamenda Regional Hospital, after a protracted illness.

Goalkeeper Angwa as he was fondly called, played with PWD Bamenda in the 80’s.

Before his death, he was member of the North West bureau of the Association of Cameroonian Professional Footballers, SYNAFOC.

He will be buried on August 5, 2023 in his native village of Batibo.
