Tiko-Douala Road: Four die in accident, others injured
In less than 24 hours, two accidents occurred along the Tiko-Douala road, in the South West region, witnesses confirmed.
On April 1, 2023, a private car deviated from its track and entered the bush around the Misselele stretch. Occupants sustained injuries while the front and back views were partially damaged.
The next day April 2, 2023, a fatal accident occurred along the same road leading to four deaths and one injured victim.
The accident occurred in an area called “Bomono ba Mbengue” in Moungo Division, Littoral region. The private car reportedly hit a truck from the back. One person is said to have been extracted alive but in critical conditions.
