North West does not condone terror- Fru Angwafo III
2023 is a year of peace in Bamenda, especially Nkwen. Northwest is not a place of terror and fear, it’s a beautiful place Professor Fru Angwafo III explained during the Northwest regional Assembly meeting on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
This Regional Assembly meeting brought together traditional rulers of different villages in Bamenda to discuss the problems and possible solutions for the northwest.
“People think Bamenda is a total misery and full of chaos which scares so many people from visiting or investing. Yes, we are facing a crisis just like the southwest but Bamenda is not a lion’s den like most put it. We are working on making sure that peace is restored to our beautiful town so 2023 can be a different year for us. Bamenda has so much potential we just need to take out fear. Preach peace to your neighbors too. I also pray for the paramount chief of Bambalang who has been abducted we pray our children to see him as their father and let him return home. We want peace for our children in the country and out of Cameroon “Fon Azehfor lll said.
“This 2023 we are trying to create more employment for our young persons so they can drop their weapons and the budget of 2023, we will ensure we make everyone get a little pay and a job. What is important is we must give out little money to our mothers this season. If there is a job and little money in the region, Bamenda will come back to normal “Professor Fru Angwafo III explained.
The President pleaded with the people of the North west who had left to return back home so together that the region can be made as beautiful as before.
