CAF Champions League

Coton Sports of Garoua will on Sunday October 16 as from 6pm seek qualification for the group stage of the CAF Champions League as they receive Royal Leapards FC of Eswatini in the return leg of the second preliminary round of the competition.

A win or a virgin score will guarantee their progress to the next round because the two teams separated on a 1-1 score last weekend in Eswatini.

Cameroon Cup Trophy

After their October 2nd Cameroon Cup victory against Bamboutos FC of Mbouda, Coton Sports of Garoua have for the first time arrived their home town where they received a hero’s welcome from authorities, fans and sympathisers to whom they presented the 2022 Cameroon Cup trophy.

They defeated Bamboutos 1-0 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium to grab their 7th Cameroon Cup title in 8 finals played.

U23 AFCON qualifiers

The under 23 Lions of Cameroon have lost 1-2 to league one outfit Renaissance FC in a friendly game.

The match counted for preparations ahead of their Under 23 AFCON qualification matches against Angola from October 22-30, 2022.

The Assistant Coach of the Under 20 lions of Cameroon has made public a list of 30 players selected for a 2 week training camp.

The camp falls in line with preparations for the UNIFAC tournament that will also serve as qualifiers for the 2022 under 20 AFCON.

The training Camp runs from October 14 to October 28, 2022.

HANDBALL

The final four tournament to determine this season’s national champions will run from Sunday October 16-20 both in the Men’s and Women’s categories.

The Playoffs will be take place in Yaoundé.
