Pius Ndiefi, Nicolas Alnoudji others appointed as Eto’o gives football management back to Footballers.

The President of Cameroon Football Federation, is revolutionalising the game of football in Cameroon, giving back to former footballers, major roles in the different national teams.

After appointing former Indomitable Lions captain, Rigobert Song as the head coach of the senior football team, he appointed former playmaker and team mate, Patrick Mboma as the Face of the team.

President Samuel Eto’o did not end there, on Friday August 5, 2022, he appointed former player, Alioum Saidou, head coach of the intermediate Lions, who compete in African Nation’s Championship. Another former player Ndiefi Pius was appointed as assistant.

Former player Nicolas Alnoudji appointed team manager of the U17 team while Jean Piere and Serge Mimpo were appointed coach and deputy respectively.

In the U15, household name, Ebwelle Bertin takes the position of head coach.

Football lovers believe that with Samuel Eto’o Fils, football management in Cameroon is gradually being handled by the right persons and not political appointments.

With less than 8 months in office, the former African player of the year, has brought significant changes in the management of football in Cameroon. He gives zero tolerance for laziness and mismanagement.

A rich career from Europe, Eto’o Fils has seen and seems to do what Europeans to to foster professionalism.

Though he is being fought at with unending cases at the Court of Arbitration for Sports, Cameroonians have shown unprecedented support and some said they are ready to protest if Eto’o Fils is removed as President.
