BIR Commander killed in Kumba

A senior member of the Rapid Intervention Battalion, BIR Major, Essama was shot dead in Kumba, Meme Division in the South West region.

The son of Colonel EYENGA was shot dead alongside others on the morning of Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

The deceased was a senior member of the BIR and commanded a Battalion.

A faction of the Separatists declared Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday as lockdown due to the visit of French President, Emmanuel Macron.
