Young Peace Builders Take COVID-19 Sensitization To Rural Community

Youth Initiatives for Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution (YIPACOR) has carried out Covid-19 sensitization campaign at the Bomaka neighborhood in Buea subdivision, southwest region.

YIPACOR realized that most Covid-19 sensitization campaign is limited to the urban areas. “That is why we decided to go down to the suburb to sensitize, educate our locals on basic preventive measures. Youth Initiatives for Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution has started with BOMAKA, it will visit 10 rural communities in Buea namely Mile 14, 15, 16, 18,Muea, Buea town, Bova, Bonakanda and a host of rural communities,” YIPACOR leader, Beng Primus Fang told CNA.
