SDF not in talks to join Biya regime-Scribe

The outing of the newly appointed Secretary-general of the party, Barrister Adeline Djomgang, comes to debunk a letter circulated on social media on a purported response from the national chairman to an appointee who rejected his appointment.

The SDF Scribe has said that the said letter is fake and intended to destabilize the party.

“This ‘letter’ is a fake document and the SDF strongly condemns the fraudulent and criminal reproduction of our National Chairman’s signature to produce fake news to harm the reputation of our party”

The said letter was purportedly written by the Chairman, Ni John Fru Ndi to Barrister Agbor Felix, who declined his appointment to the position of judicial representative of the party.

Barrister Agbor had declined the position.

His reaction sparked discussion on whether he was consulted or not.

But the party’s SG has now said the Chairman did not write any correspondence to Barrister Agbor Balla and that they are not in talks to join “a government of national unity” as stated in the letter.

The Ntarikon-based party has been on the news recently after the reshuffle of the cabinet. 27 disgruntled bigwigs met in Mbouda West region to denounce the alleged highhandedness of the Chairman, demanding elective Congress to hold as soon as possible.
