Interpools 2022

The group stages of the tournament end this September 20th with Day 5 matches in group A that will be simultaneously played at the middle farms stadium and the centenary stadium as from 3pm local time.

Hilltop strikers of Bamenda, currently ranked second in the group will look forward to maintaining the second spot as they take on group winners NGV of Bafoussam. The other match will between Nkufo FC and Olympique of Meinganga. Nkufo will be obliged to win the game while expecting Hilltop’s defeat in their other game in other to qualify.

In group B, final matches were played on September 19 with Aigle of Moungo winning the group with 10 points. They sealed their victory with a 1-0 win over Real of Bertoua. Victoria United on their part finished second in the group with 7 points after they lost 0-2 to FC Ebolowa.

Victoria United will face NGV of Bafoussam in the Knock out stage while Aigle of Moungo will know their Knock out opponent this Septembr 20th.

Rugby : Administrative adjustments made at federation.

The Secretary General of the Cameroon Rugby Union Godefroy Ondoa, will henceforth manage the current affairs of the institution meanwhile Jean Justin Nde and Dr Ngounou Steve Yannick are the new development officers respectively in charge of coaches and the medical corps at the Cameroon Rugby Union.

The appointments were made public on September 19 2022 via communiques signed by the President of the Cameroon Rugby Union (FECARUGBY) Marc Emmanuel Essono Mette.

Rugby Players called up for training Camp ahead of Africa Cup

The Head coach of the Rugby Lionesses of Cameroon has called up 35 players for a training camp that runs from September 21st to October 11 2022 in the town of Akono.

This is to better prepare the team ahead of the Rugby Africa Women’s cup that Cameroon will host from November 2-13, 2022.
