2018 Presidential Elections : It Will Be On October 7

YAOUNDE,Cameroon-Tuesday July 10, 2018-8:30 AM Local Time(Cameroon News Agency) Cameroon’s Head of State, Paul Biya has convened the electoral college ahead of the 2018 Presidential elections on October 7. Constitutionally, the President has outlined the procedures to take before the polls.

Mr Biya had just less than one week to convene the electoral core as stipulated by the Constitution which says it must be announced 90 days to the election day.

According to the decree, the deadline to deposit documents is scheduled for July 19, 2018, August 8, validated applications will be made public , September 24, 2018 start of campaigns and October 7, Presidential elections.
